According to the Latino Review, Emma is NOT going to be a part of “Sucker Punch” after all…

We also know that casting for this movie has been crazy with Emily Browning (Violet in A Series Of Unfortunate Events) replacing Amanda Seyfried in the lead role. Also Jena Malone (Gretchen in Donnie Darko) and Jamie Chung (Chi Chi in Dragonball: Evolution) replacing Emma Stone and Evan Rachel Wood. Vanessa Hudgens or High School Musical fame and Abbie Cornish (Elizabeth: The Golden Age) have managed to hold tight to their parts.

Emma is one of the stars of the a film titled “Sucker Punch.” Her co-stars in the film included Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Evan Rachel Wood and Abbie Cornish and the film is going to be directed by Zack Snyder.

“Sucker Punch” is about a girl (“Lemony Snicket’s” Emily Browning) who is put into a mental institution by her evil (aren’t they always?) stepfather.

She finds an alternative reality to escape from her real life nightmare.

Filming won’t start until September, but Vanessa will start her training, stunt choreography and dramatic rehearsals soon in Vancouver.
